What is a Marketing Associate?
A:
SYSCO Sacramento uses the services of over 100 food service professionals called Marketing Associates (affectionately referred to as “MA’s”). These sales pros go beyond the usual DSR (Distributor Sales Representative) because they are trained to bring you the products and services to help you increase your sales and profits. They are true consultants to assist in this process. Each of them has access to iCare partners that can help you solve many problems. Our MA’s are so much more than sales people.

How do I find out if I buy a product from SYSCO Sacramento that may be involved in the national product recall I heard on the news?
A:
When we receive notice of a recall, we immediately secure any product that is potentially involved. We call any customer that may have purchased it and then send them details about it. If a customer has any affected product we pick it up and secure it here awaiting outcome of the investigation by the supplier.

Can I come see your operation?

We would love to have you come and see us. SYSCO Sacramento features an incredible Client Services Center that is the perfect setting for product evaluations and training. We also have a full array of Equipment on display in an Equipment Show Room. You can bring the colors of your operation to our Table Top Show Room and match it to the perfect china, glassware and flatware. We are so glad to be part of this community and we support so many important causes, like the American Red Cross, the Juvenile diabetes Foundation, the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure, the California Highway Patrol “CHiPs for Kids” annual Toy drive, and the Salvation Army “Adopt a Family”.
